Pain Management

Percutaneous Radiofrequency Discoplasty

Percutaneous Disc Reduction (PRD) offers a non-surgical solution to relieve pain from disc herniations. By using advanced radiofrequency technology, we target the affected area, shrinking the herniation and reinforcing the disc.

Experience Lasting Relief

Percutaneous Disc Reduction (PRD) is a non-surgical procedure to reduce disc herniations. Using live fluoroscopy, a cannula is guided into the disc's center, where radiofrequency pulses are applied.

Radiofrequency is an energy source that will allow the herniated area to shrink, and it will also strengthen the wall of the disc (annulus fibrosus), through which the herniation occurred. The area is heated to 90°C for 4-5 minutes, providing effective pain relief and improving disc stability.
