Total Hip Replacement

Experience Lasting Relief

This procedure is sought after by patients who have been experiencing chronic hip pain due to a variety of factors.

Osteoarthritis, caused by excessive hip joint use, leads to cartilage wear and pain, often requiring total hip replacement. Under regional anesthesia, a large incision is made on the side of the hip to expose the joint. The femoral head is removed from the acetabulum (hip socket) and replaced with a prosthetic that matches the patient's anatomy. The acetabulum is then also replaced to complete the procedure.
